I got over eight hours of sleep last night. Continuous. It was glorious and nearly worth the twelve month wait, ha.
Finally decided to rewrite a scene from whole cloth. It simply had to happen. So tonight I did it and those seven pages flowed pretty easy.
This script has busted my ass but I think it’s pretty great now. It finally means something. I’m annoyed it’s taken me so long but realistically, if you add up the hours, it’s only been a few full days of work. If I were full time there’s no way it would have felt so damn long.
I also got a look at some more sketches and thumbnails for A LOVE SUPREME from @spae. Man, so damn gorgeous. One of the pages is so good it’s already my phone lock screen. I cannot wait to get this pitch off the ground and into editorial hands.
I’m organising some ARCs of my Daredevil book for early next year. It’s exciting just to email about it, I can’t imagine how cool it’ll be with it in my hands.
The road to ECCC is already well travelled by me. Roll on 2013.
