Sometimes the words come easy and sometimes you get a sore wrist making them come hard.
Sadly, that’s the best stuff I’ve written all night. Ha.
I put another draft over this fatherhood one-shot I’ve written. The flow feels good now, a right and purposeful structure, but I want more fatherhood in it. I need to pass over it now and lay over some more personal elements.
Then I need to find a great crime style artist to bring it to life. I’ll ramp up the search once I know the script is to be shown. If you know anyone, you know what to do.
I then looked at my script and plan for the next issue of the ongoing. It’s coming along well. Think I’ll have to write on and then rewrite the opening scene. It’s so damn close to what I want but I know something is missing. I’ll get it but won’t let it hold me up for now.
I looked over some art for a project and it’s making me think I need to tweak a few things to match it because one piece I got was just too damn good to not run with. That’s a cool feeling.
I read a comic that doesn’t come out until next week. My lips are sealed.
I watched HOMELAND with the wife. It’s still really good but I still can’t decide if it’s for me. Hrmm…
That was my night. It went too quick, as usual, but I’m getting much better at shutting off distractions and making the business happen.
